  • Not at all :( oldest one doesnt nap and the baby is a terrible napper and will only sleep on me and then only for like 20 mins.

  • My baby is only 6 wks. old. so she naps a lot still, so I guess we shall see what happens in a few months.

  • They are on different nap schedules so it just depends on the day if they overlap or not. DD is usually down by 12:30/12:45 but DS is not ready for a nap until 1:30 or so. I usually get at least 30 minutes but it depends on how long DD sleeps.

  • This is why having twins is great some days.  They are on the same schedule so I get about 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon.  Smile
  • I have two kids, but my oldest is in school (11th grade) during the day.  So when Ben takes a nap, yes, I get time for myself.

I have twins, so they're on the same schedule.  One sometimes doesn't nap, however, but most days they both do.  So nice to have that mid-day break!

  • DS doesn't nap anymore and DD rarely naps because even if she is in her room, his screaming and playing wakes her.  They both sleep through the night though.  So that is my "time off".  Lucky me:-)

  • Yes. Just about every day unless I plan otherwise. My oldest doesn't always take naps anymore but I always still enforce quiet time where she is to play quietly in her room while her brother naps. I need those couple of hours to recharge. I'm just not the best mom I can be without it.
  • Kinda.  My girls have "quiet time" for an hour or two most days (if I don't choose to skip it and/or they don't fall asleep in the car).  DD#1 rarely sleeps now but she "rests" and reads books and plays quietly.  Unfortunately, since they share a room and DD#2 moved into a bed in November, it's harder to get DD#2 to sleep...which she totally needs.  Still, we try and either way they're "locked" (baby gate) in their room for an hour to hour and a half most days.  If DS cooperates, he's also sleeping then and I get some work done or maybe a load of laundry.  Usually their "naps" only overlap by 20-30 minutes these days if I'm lucky so the timing has so not been working for me.  Can't wait to get DS on a schedule where he's down at the same time as the girls!
  • Some days.  My 23 month old still naps most days  but it is hit or miss if I also get the baby down during that time period.  And even if I do DD1 is still up since she no longer naps.  I still take me time though and let DD play a game, color, watch a show, etc while I have a cup of coffee and  surf online for a bit.  I don't get total me time though until after they all go to bed for the night.
