  • I hope so at some point.  Apparently Ian had an epic meltdown yesterday that involved gagging himself with his fist so he wouldn't have to take a drink of water.  Then my coworker said his wife left his 3-year-old at daycare with the teacher holding him down.  So I was glad it wasn't just my kid :)

  • DD1 wouldn't leave school today.  Her teacher walked her out and as soon as the door closed she did a full on shrieking freak out.  She wouldn't walk and having DD2 carried in my left arm, I couldn't bend down to lift DD1 up without letting go of her wrist and risking having her run around in front of cars in a parking lot.  So I had to basically drag her by her wrist to the car.  It was horrible.  The only way I got her to calm down was to record her on my iphone and then I played it back to her.  Hearing her screams got her attention.

  • My 9 y/o never has that kind of freak out anymore.  But I've been assured we're only on a temporary break until she reaches her teens!  :)
