It puts me on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It makes me question my own parenting techniques, and it makes my heart bleed for those kids and parents.
The one episode where the mother was hiding in her bathroom so she could eat her lunch (her only meal of the day!) made me sob. I mean, listen, I know I'm a good parent. I don't think I'd EVAR get to the point where I'd allow my child/ future children to become that insane. But-I'd be willing to bet that every single one of those parents on that show felt the same way at some point. And as a mother, I've tried diligently to never say, "I'll never XYZ." BAH! It makes me sad and anxious.
