School that is, right now I am doing three college class, and I have to say its kicking my a$$...I can barley keep up with my homework (all my classes are online) and I just feel overwhelmed and tired all the time. Between, house work, LO, homework and all the other mommy/wify dutites i just cant handle it....
sigh...
Re: I think I am going to quit...venting
personally- if you are in the middle of the semester- dropping out is pointless. you have to pay for those classes, get no credit- and you put in half a semester in vain. you will have totally wasted your time, effort, and sleep over nothing. Stick out the semester- and only take one class next semester.
and for what its worth- i totally know what it is like- i finished my last year of law school pregnant and working full time. And i have been going to graduate law school (taking four classes- at night- in class) since Gisele was born.
Are you able to get any support in having someone watch your LO while you work on homework? Even if it is for a day or so a week to allow you to catch up?
I agree ... quitting mid-semester is not good. All the work you have put in would be a waste plus loss of money.
If you can't handle it all, maybe you can drop one class and still finish the other two? You'll lose the time and money you put into the class already but it would be better than dropping all of them or losing your sanity. Hang in there!
Like PP said dropping now is a big loss on money. Most schools have spring break coming up is there anyway you can possibly hand stuff in late and use spring break as a way of getting caught up/ maybe even a little ahead?
I"m taking 2 classes (last semester of nursing, and a online classes) and it's really tough but I've broke it down to DH as so we're not loosing money on your days off I need 4 hrs a day for reading/homework/ study time. I don't use everyday the full 4 hrs but he knows that between 12 - 4 (DS naps normally 12-2) he's in charge and i'm unreachable. Sometimes it's really hard but I have to head over to barnes and nobles to study because if i'm home there isn't chance that i'm gonna get work done.
I'd also look into maybe having SO or a friend /Family help with little things like laundry or dinner one a week. One of my friends I study with will pick up pizza when she comes to study so we don't have to worry about food and my mom come to baby sit on mondays and will do a load of Ethan's laundry for me. It's the small things that really help.
GL and stick it out summer is almost here!
Is there any way you can ask for help? I took online course right after DS was born and it was really hard. Trying meeting with your professers (if possible) and see if you can work out something.
The only way I made it through was setting up time daily to get catch up on the online postings during DS's nap. I did really let housework slide during this time too.
