He's fine, but the dr. gave me muscle relaxers for my back because it kills. I was wearing socks and walking down the stairs to feed him when either I lost my footing or the sock slipped and I tumbled backwards. We spent about 3 hours in the ER. I feel so bad about it happening. Now FI has started calling my clumso and it hurts my feelings.
Also, this is gonna sound sad and pathetic on my part, but I really wanted to go to the new and expecting parents meetup tonight but my back is hurting way to bad. I really wanted to meet new people and look at cloth diapers lol.
Re: William and I fell down the stairs yesterday...
Ohhh that's so scary- glad he's okay & that you have meds for your pain!
I fell down my last 4 steps {and landed on my front} when I was preggers...I think I was at the end of my 2nd Tri & I remember it scared me to death.
Don't beat yourself up about it though---at least you know to be cautious & hold on to the rail each time. Stairs can be very dangerous!

Glad you're okay and I'm sorry about the pain. When DS was about 4 months, I fell on the concrete sidewalk in front of our church while walking to the car. DH said I looked like the matrix the way I twisted my body around to make sure DS didn't touch the ground or feel anything. And he didn't. I was in tears and he was giving me a look like "what's the big deal?" Now I understand what people mean when the say motherly instinct kicks in. I'm sure part of your pain is due to you trying to lesson the impact for your little one.
Feel better!
I tripped coming in from checking the mail last summer and face planted Kenley into the front door. I thought for sure I had cracked her head. We both cried for awhile after it happened and I'm honestly surprised neither of us were seriously injured.
It's so scary when something like that happens. Glad he's ok and hope you feel better soon!!!!
