Making your own bedding

For those of you that are making your own bedding, how many yards of material do I need to get for the bumper and crib skirt? This is fabric combo I picked out.

The pattern I am sewing off of has the measurements. Maybe start there? I used 2 yards for the bed skirt ruffle and a yard and half about for the flat part of the ruffle. I am doing curtains as well, 2 yards for each 32" window, but no bumper. Sorry!

My mom is making mine and we bought about 5 yards just to be safe and are incorporating some fabric we already had - but we are making the comforter, bumpers, diaper stacker, some decorative pillows and curtains.
