When you have time all for yourself only, what is your favorite thing to do?
I take a bubblebath while eating ice cream and watching a girly movie on my laptop (laptop is propped on a dining room chair next to the tub)
What is your favorite moment,activity, or time of the day with your LO?
When he first wakes up. I go into his room and peek in the crib and say Good Morning and he gets really excited to see me and starts kicking and smiling immediately. Makes my heart melt.
What small thing does your husband or SO do that means more to you than he'll ever know?
Cleaning up the kitchen after dinner & letting me sleep in on Sunday mornings.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, with or without your family, where would you be and why?
We would all be in Ireland together on vacation.When you have time all for yourself only, what is your favorite thing to do?
Depending on my to-do list .... I am baby-free from 9:30- 12ish and 2:30-4:30ish (depending on his nap). And in the evenings, when DH is home and Grant goes to bed at 7
I like to chat. I like to watch movies. I like to read. I like to scrapbook/craft. I'm working on a super awesome blog devoted to eco/green living, adoption, parenting, crafting and everything else that I love haha.
What is your favorite moment,activity, or time of the day with your LO?
When I walk into his room after naps - he is so smiley and giggly. I love it. That's my favorite moment. And, FFC ... when he gets hurt (NOT really hurt just startled - like when he falls down from standing) ... he snuggles into me and just wants his mommy - I LOVE THAT (not the part of him getting hurt/startled/scared).
I love going to kindermusik class with him - he is always such a riot and so expressive (of course, the fact that I think he is a genius compared to other kids older than him uhh .. does a lot for my ego as a mom lol). When Grant and I play - he is just so interested in mimicking what I do or say - I love it.
What small thing does your husband or SO do that means more to you than he'll ever know?
No offense to anyone who has a less than helpful or supportive husband but .. every time I read an issue that others have with their DHs in being supportive or involved as a father ... being a supportive husband of my role ... I am reminded at how absolutely amazing he is. Respecting and appreciating me.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, with or without your family, where would you be and why?
I'll have to think on that one. Baby is up!
When you have time all for yourself only, what is your favorite thing to do? Take a hot bath and read a good book.
What is your favorite moment,activity, or time of the day with your LO? Lately I've enjoyed playing the Wii with Paige and Sarah. Paige can actually play and Sarah holds an extra remote and yells go go go. It's too cute.
What small thing does your husband or SO do that means more to you than he'll ever know? He takes the kids down with him in the morning while he is having his breakfast and coffee before getting ready for work if they happen to wake before I do.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, with or without your family, where would you be and why? I'd be at the pool at the house we are renting in NC for vacation enjoying a cold beer and the warm sun while the baby sleeps and the Granparents enterain my girls. Sigh....
When you have time all for yourself only, what is your favorite thing to do? Write poetry in coffeeshops
What is your favorite moment,activity, or time of the day with your LO? I love it when I walk into the room and she gets so excited to see me. I also love when she does the same thing for DH
What small thing does your husband or SO do that means more to you than he'll ever know? He is very kind to me always, even when I am crazy, hormonal, and moody. He tries to help me out with chores so that I can rest here and there.... and he makes me whipped cream!
If you could be anywhere in the world right now, with or without your family, where would you be and why? It would be DH and I in our old apartment circa autumn 2005. Because it is simply poetic how I feel about the memories of those days, and to go back and live it even for a moment would be so divine.
