I need WW help...

I had to call another bumpie (or two) for help while in the grocery store bc I was completely at a loss for what to buy/eat.  I think I did ok, but I walked out w/ $100 worth of snacks and stuff to make lunches (oh, and a few jars of baby food).  I walked around looking at the calories/fiber/fat and trying to figure up points. Please recommend your favorite low point snacks and meals.  I don't cook very much, bc its just me and P, and I get home so late during the week.  Easier is better.

  • I'm a firm believer in soups, and my mom said she's going to try a WW one that has no, as in zero, points so they must be good right?

Onion, tiny bit of olive oil, a bunch of your favorite sturdy veggies and a box of chicken stock and voila... enough to feed two people for several meals.

  • Soups are great - I think Kari posted the recipe for taco soup - it's yummy! This is what I ate when working and doing ww. My favorite breakfast on ww is an English muffin (I think both the light and double fiber ones are one or two points), a wedge of laughing cow cheese and either a scrambled egg or a few slices of turkey lunchmeat. For lunches I would stick with big salads with grilled chicken or some plain tuna. You can prep all your veggies and protein on Sunday so you're ready to go for the week. For snacks I usually try to stick to fruit, veggies or pre measured bags of nuts. Good luck!!!
  • Hi Shelley!

Do you have a Trader Joes? If so, they have some great things for snacking - flash dried fruits, puffs and chips that are baked and low in fat, etc...they have a point tracker you can buy too that you can take to the store with you to figure out points - I have the app on my i-phone and it really helps.

good luck and hang in there!!
