The program I was thinking about unfortunately ends in a few weeks. But will start again in September and would be perfect for your LO.
It is called PreK Drop In Gym. It is a non-structured program, parents must stay with the child. We have blocks, bikes, mats, balls, etc. All set up in the gymnasium. Its a great way for the kids to burn some energy and you can meet other moms! It is run 3 days (M,W,TH) at Congers Community Center. And 2 days (TU,F) at Pascack Community Center in Nanuet. It runs from 10:30am-12:30pm. You can go to either or both location for any ammount of time! The program runs from the end of September until the middle of April.
You should get a booklet in the mail about all the programs that the recreation department runs. The main office is on Zukor Rd in New City. Their # is 845-639-6200, if you have any questions.
