Do you buy expensive makeup?

I only wear tinted moisturizer, eyeshadow and mascara and I prefer to buy M.A.C but I honestly am starting to rethink my purchases. What brand do you love?

Some nice, some not so nice. I like Stila tinted moisturizer and Laura Mercier concealer... but I use cheapy eyeshadows, mascara and eyeliner (CoverGirl, Rimmel and Almay mostly).

It depends. I have some of both. I have to have Lancome mascara (or Dior) and I prefer expensive lip gloss. But everything else I will buy at Target. I like Alamay eye liner and Revlon concealer. My favorite eye shadow is Aveda and I like their lip gloss too.

I use MAC powder because the other stuff makes me break out. I also LOVE Benefit's bronzer/blush "Dallas" and the BADgal mascara, although I think it's more the brush that the actual mascara (I tried the brush with my Mabelline mascara and got the same look).

I use expensive makeup. I don't use a ton and justify it by saying it's better for my skin. I use a combination of Benefit, Smashbox and MAC.

I tried tube mascara once and didnt like it. I dont remember what brand it was though but it flaked off easily. I went to Sephora today, I love that store!!! I could spend so much money there if I didnt have some self control.

Doesn't Bare Escentuals have a bunch of talc in it? I stopped using it because it really irritated my skin after using it for a year.

The only thing I splurge on is BB Cream. It's a Korean foundation that has SPF, moisturizers, and blends to your skin color.

I use kiehl's tinted moisterizer, tarte powder, benefit and dermablend concelears, smashbox blush. Eye shadow and mascara I will buy which ever brand but tend to the nicer ones for eye shadow but also maybelline or loreal for mascara. I love love makeup and whenever somebody asks what I want for my bday or christmas I always say Sephora gift card...that way I can buy my nice makeup; I rarely dish out my own money this way Stick out tongue

These days, though, I barely wear anything but Mascara (cheap. Revlon, I think)? and gloss (MAC).

I run the gamut. You can't keep me out of the make-up aisle at Target or Nordstrom. Most of my stuff is Trish McEvoy but I will literally try anything once.

I have a variety.

I used to use Bare Minerals, but now I use the Maybelline version you can get at Target bc it's only $10. I don't see any difference.

I use Nars blush, Clinique eyeshadow, Covergirl mascara, Benefit eyeliner.

I used to buy all expensive makeup and didn't see that much of a difference in the results so I cut it way back. I could go crazy though, I love trying new things!

Yes, it does, as well as bismuth oxychloride, which is a known irritant. I have heard a lot of people develop problems with it over time.

As for makeup, yes, I do purchase expensive makeup. However, I'm a pro makeup artist, so take that FWIW. Mostly MAC, Mary Kay, Smashbox, Make Up Forever, and Dior. I do have the new Lash Stiletto mascara by Mabelline and it's pretty amazing for a drugstore brand!

MAC all the way.....except for mascara....I buy L'Oreal. It may be expensive, but it does last a long time.

I use Bare Minerals on my face, it's the only thing that I don't have a reaction to. I love MAC, but can't wear it b/c my skin just can't handle all of the ingredients in it. I use Rimmel eye shadow, liner, etc.

I have yet to find a good moisturizer.
