Hi Ladies,
My IL's are going to epcot at the end of the month and they want us to go with them. Last night after looking online, it seems there won't be much for Mateo to do.....have any of you gone with your LO? If so, was there plenty to do?
Thanks,
Natalie
Re: Epcot and a 2 1/2 year old
If your two year old is like my two year old - he can probably have fun in a cardboard box? LOL. Epcot was not Sophie's favorite park but she was never bored there. There are rides she can go on and shows she can see but she spent some time running around and playing in the buildings with us while Abel or I road Soarin, or Test Track, etc. She was able to go in the big ball with us. Mission Earth? She liked that. There is Finding Nemo, Figment, Honey I Shrunk the Audience (corny)....and then there is a lot of stuff to see in the World's Showcase. There is also a fun place for him to meet all the characters and they can sign his autograph book.
So its like going anywhere new - lots to see and do even if its not as kid friendly as MK or AK. Mateo will be fine.
There are some great things for toddlers- a lot of walk through places with games and music activites. i.e. after figment they have this big area where the kids can stomp on these rocks that play music, and use their hands to conduct- it's all about sense. Hard to describe, but yes! World Showcase doesn't have as much, but my neice took a great nap while we walked around their, since the whole experience can be a little overwhelming!
ETA- Canada is the best place to eat in all of Disney- if you can get a reservation there then I highly recommend it (it's a steak house).
What is this about? I don't remember anything with deafening decibels when I was there. Which sound stage rides?
