well...we have hung in here and now were at our 35/35!!! Whoop Whoop!!yesterday i was having some yucky (not too painful) contractions fro 3pm throughout the nite. by 1:30 am, i was ready b/c they had gotten more painful. we went to l&d and found out i am contracting alot but only at a 3 cm. still elevated bp and some moderate protein in my urine. babies are still head down! OB is still going to let me labor and try a med-free vaginal delivery! things looked great. after 5 hours, OB sent me home to rest and labor here...he said i would be more comfy here. ahh they gave me a double dose of sleeping pills and i was almost out before i got home...could not walk from the car to the door and barely scarfed down my breakfast before passing out. slept from 8-2!!it kinda scares me not knowing when to 'really' go in. with DS i went in almost too late and i was in excruciating pain (didn't know i was contracting) and now when i KNOW i am contracting and in some pain (like a 6) its too soon...when do i go? i have a fairly high threshold for pain but i don't want to wait to where i have 10 mins again before i deliver. i want more than anything my mom to be there this time and she lives about 2 hours away. i kinda would like that fair warning this time.he joked and said he would see me tonite at 3am ha ha and the next time i came in i would most likely be havin babies!! ok, one complaint! whoever invented the cathedar should have been shot dead! (sorry) i bet he/she never had to have one.... vent over!
Glad you are still cookin' and that LOs are heads down! Best of luck and hope you get keep on bakin' those babies for awhile longer
LOL at catheter--I totally hear ya and normally blame males for inventing the painful devices in life but I feel a cath might be credited to a woman since I am sure it's splicing pain for a dude to have one, too!
