Surgery successful - DE cycle back on!

I had that crazy polyp removed yesterday (wonderful drugs!) - the one that popped up out of nowhere last week the day before my scheduled thaw.  RE said it was a very easy removal that should cause no scarring, and I can start over with Day one today!  (He thinks it came from all that 'stimming' in the 3 previous cycles and just showed up because he was pumping my lining up so much for the DE transfer.)  He said it was 'flimsy' and definitely 'just' a polyp, not a fibroid, which could have been more difficult to remove.

So, we are only (!) three weeks delayed and rescheduled for egg thaw from the frozen donor egg bank and transfer sometime between March 19th through 24th. (Of course, we had scheduled all our work meetings and travel during that time because we thought it would all be done by then, but at this point I am just rolling with the punches . . .)

    Oh and . . .

    Apparently when they tried to wake me up from the surgery, I told them not to wake me up, this was my 'spa day.'  They said they've never heard that one before and offered to bring me water with lemon!

    Fabulous news!!!!! I am so happy you can get your show on the road and that it all turned out well. Everything is crossed for you!
    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.
