Babies: 3 - 6 Months

S/O baby names

Did you know what you were going to name your baby before you went to the hospital?? When did you decide for sure??

I didn't choose Liam's name until the day after he was born, I went into the hospital with a few names I liked, but I couldn't decide til I saw him. Liam was the name that popped into my head the second I saw him, but I waited a day to think it over before I made it official.

    Us too!

  • We had it down to Caleb and Trent around halfway then after the big U/S we knew it was going to be Trent. We used Alfred since it's my DH's middle name and his dad and grandfathers first name.
  • We knew the name at about 28 weeks. It was really one of the only ones H and I could agree on. He is 1000% a Dillon - the name fits him perfectly.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.

  • No, we had names for boys and girls and then when we found out we were having a boy, we had 4 names we were considering. The  name we chose just kept sticking out more than the others!

  • I knew it would be his name about 3 years before I even got pregnant. I was set on his name if I had a boy...luckily DH loves it too and it goes great with our italian last name :)
  • We decided at the hospital.  We had it narrowed down to 2 names though.

  • We had to have her name picked out way before. DH and I couldn't agree on anything. We finally agreed on a girl's name but we could never agree on a boy's name.
  • We had 1 name for a boy and 1 for a girl since we were dating. So we knew for awhile!

  • We were down to two options a month or two before my due date, but didn't settle on one until the day after DD was born.  We probably would have been undecided longer, but people were pestering us about whether everything was ok since I had gone in for an induction two days earlier.

  • We had a few boy names and a  single girl name picked out as soon as we realized I was pregnant.  We decided on DS's name after we had the U/S and knew he was a he.

We had DS's name picked before I got pregnant.  I would have had a harder time had he been a girl.

  • We finally had to decide on DD's name when a hospital employee came in to bug us about the birth certificate.  We were on team green, and had a few names in mind, but I had an easier time with boy names.  We really didn't have a lot of girl names picked out.

  • DS is the 4th, so I had 0 choice on that one. If we had a girl, we'd still be fighting over what to name her.

  • We knew she would be Anneliese before we even got pregnant. But we didn't decide for sure on her middle name (Olive) until about 2 weeks before she was born.

  • We didn't know the sex of the baby until he delivered but we had one boy and one girl name picked out. That is one of my favorite birth moments, when DH said Tristan Robert aloud for the first time. He was already born, yes, but I feel like that was when he was finally really here.
