TTC after 35

1st u/s was today - whooo hooo we're cautiously optimistic!

I'm 6wks0d today and had my 1st u/s.  The doctor's words were (and I quote)..."this is exactly textbook what we want to see for 6 weeks"!  Whoo hooo!!  I never thought that I'd be so happy to be average!!  There's one sak, exactly where it should be, and we saw a heartbeat!  108!!  The doctor said that that's exactly what they want to see right now - as long as it's above 100, we're good.  So, yay!!

I really want to jump up and down, but since no one knows IRL, I guess that wouldn't be such a good idea.  But, I'm jumping up and down in my head!!   DH is of course reminding me that we should only be "cautiously optimistic" and that we still have a long road ahead of us.  I know, I know, I know...I agree...But, I'm just so relieved to be past this first hurdle!
