AW: babywearing while pregnant PIPs:)

Just got my new Neobulle Julie yesterday! :)  My second woven wrap, to the first that was a FSOT shorty that came on Tuesday ;)  Seth's been super clingy and I HATE anything on my belly when pregnant-- even pants are constant annoyance!  So I'm teaching myself to wrap :)  These pics were taken last night, w/ the wrap right out of the box.  I've since washed it and it's already a lot softer.  The carry is a rucksack back carry tied off tibetan-style (ish... not sure if I did that exactly right but it worked out!)

And just because he's so happy & I managed to get it in focus w/o the camera to my eye (these were taken on manual).

  • That's darling! You guys look great!
  • Awe! So cute, looks good on you! Did it hurt your back at all or did the extra weight hurt your feet? (my feet ached all the time when I was pregnant).

  • How cute! I hope Ari will still let me wear him when he's your DS's age.

The Neobulle is beautiful too. I have an Ardoise & a Simon ring sling conversion. Love them both.

  • I love your pics!  Your LO looks so happy in his new wrap!  What kind of Nikon do you have?  My parents just gave me a D3000 for my birthday.  I am interested in buying another lens.  The one it came with is an 18-55 mm 1: 3.5-5.6G.  What lens do you use the most?

Didn't hurt my feet, but I haven't had any problems with that, either.  The top rail was not as tight as I would've liked so it hurt my shoulders while I was getting dinner together with him up there.  I re-tied it and it was better later on.  :)

And rainlily-- it is a D60.  I love it!  The lens I used for these pics was the 35mm/1.8 which I highly recommend.  I use it pretty much all the time.  The lower aperature is very helpful in the winter, inside the house.  The photography board on here is very helpful, too, for learning and asking questions and whatnot :)

  • so cute!  all three of you!  and the wrap too, of course
  • Thanks for posting. ?I've been trying to figure this out because it was a pain cooking dinner, preggo and holding DS on my hip this evening. ?I tried a back wrap, but DS is so excited to be back there, he won't sit still long enough without me being too tired to finish the wrap. ?And my wrap is too short. ?I need to get a longer one, but I doubt DH will let me get one anytime soon. ?Maybe I can talk him into letting me make one.?

  • Adorable!  I'm hoping I'll have pictures like that in another few months too!  :)
