So I got my BRU coupon book last night and saw the Graco stroller on the cover that has the handles that you can move so that you can have the baby face away from you or towards you. I think it's called the Alano. We've been looking at the Metrolite but thinking this may be another option. Does anyone have an opinion? I looked at the details and it seems like it's much heavier than the Metrolite.

Re: Graco strollers: metrolite vs. alano flip
The flip is a little heavier then the metrolite and the back wheels are fixed so when the baby is facing you its harder to turn the stroller. I would get the metrolite if getting a graco stroller. Also none of the car seats with the flip have a front adjust car seat and I think the metrolite does have a few.
i have the metrolite and would always recommend it as a travel system due to how light it is, and how easy it is to maneuver.
due to my experiences with the flip handle bar strollers, i hate the way it steers when you flip it. the swivel wheel end up being in the back, and the back straight wheels are in the front, so it take a little more effort to turn corners with the stroller.
my advice would be to try it out and see how you like it, maybe it won't bother you as much. GL!
Another vote for the Metrolite. But, if you have a BRU or other store nearby, it's worth a test drive.
ETA: If you care about the size of the carseat, the alano comes with the smaller regular Snugride, and my Metrolite has a Snugride 32 (32 pounds vs. 22 lbs). I figure it gives me a few extra months before I have to buy a bigger car seat.
