At ER we had 14 collected and they called today to say that I now have 4 that fertilized and those 4 they will watch grow and hope to ET 2 on Monday. Wondering what other's numbers looked like for ER - Fertilization - ET. What were your numbers?
Numbers don't matter - quality of the ones they got do.
For my successful IVF - Retrieved 6, 4 fertilized, 3 transfered = 1 baby
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

TIA!

I will say that it doesn't matter the number of ER. I will even go as far as to say that at times neither does the quality. I has what several people at my RE's office called "an amazing cycle." I did get my bfp but I later miscarried. My RE feels it was due to how the embryo implanted.
That said I have a few friends who on paper did not have a good cycle. One is now pregnant expecting her first and the other has twins. So on paper if you would have compared my cycle to theirs you would have expected that my cycle would be the successful one. So try not to stress. Just know that once they are transferred they are in the safest place they can be.
I know it's not easy to try not to stress but it helped me to do things to keep me busy to keep my mind off of things. GL!! Here are my IVF #1 numbers:
Re: IVF egg numbers...

ER-23
Fertilized-21
ET-2
Frozen- 7 blasts
I don't know if I'm pg yet but retrieved 2, both were mature, both fertilized and both were put back on a 2 day transfer.
I will be 43 in two weeks. Who knows? I think it has to do with egg quality and whether your body rejects the embryos.
