AW-ish :) Yesterday was a happy day.

So yesterday was our 20 week appointment. Even though J did not cooperate, as per usual, it was still great to see him on the u/s. I'm really hoping that his sleep habits carry out to when he's out of the womb. J does NOT PLAY with nap time. When he's ready to sleep, he's ready to sleep. Poking, prodding, moving does absolutely nothing for this kid. He's a big fan of the sleep. Just like his Dad. Needless to say, the pictures we got were not the best. He was lying upside down with his face inwards.

After the u/s we went over to see Dr. Kellogg. Got weighed and to date still no weight gain (hooray). BP was good. Dr. K came in and had me lay down so he could check stuff out externally and we chatted for a bit and sent us on our way. We really love him. He's a really funny guy and our appointments are always amusing to say the least. I'm glad I gave in to having a male OB.

After the appt. Alexis and I went to lunch at Friday's. Yum! Then I had a quick meeting and after we went to pick out the new carpeting for the apt. The landlord is changing the carpet in the 2 carpeted rooms (master & J's room) and we are having it done within the next 2 months. After we went and picked out the paint colors for the nursery. We already have bedding that we picked out and my grandmother bought so we're trying to get a move on. The goal is to have the carpet changed and room painted before the baby shower on May 16th. This way there is a place for us to put everything in after.

The shower plans are coming along. I'm happy to have industry peeps that are willing to help and such I really can't believe that in 2 months is the baby shower and 2 months after that the baby will be here. WTH does the time go?!

I'm so happy for you, Justine! I'm so glad you're appointment went well. I agree about Dr. K. I also had to get over having a male OB and I'm glad I did. GL with the nursery and the shower. I'm sure everything will turn out perfect!
