Shoe ? for moms w/ boys who have huge, chunky feet.

Where do you get shoes for your little one? DS's feet are chunky all the way around. The opening of most of the shoes are too narrow (from top to bottom) to fit his feet in or they're not wide enough. I've tried Stride Rite already.

Hmm...Stride Rite is all that has worked for us. Maybe try one of the "stretchier" brands? Robeez?

We actually go to Stride right and have had not problems. DS has extra wide feed so it looks like we will be buying expensive shoes here on out

Did they maybe not give him shoes that were not wide enough?

DS has extra wide feet as well and we buy all his shoes at Stride Rite too

Stride Rite for us, also. DS has extra wide feet AND they are very thick. We've had a lot of luck with velcro

from SR.

All three of my boys have had super chunky feet (thanks goodness then thin out eventually!!). I always had gotten them stride rite brand. The XW was always good. Sometimes you need to try a different style. Even though they may be extra wide, different styles will run differently! I would suggest going back and have a sales person measure him and then try a few different styles!
