What did you get your DH for his last bday?

DH's bday is on Tuesday and I'm drawing a blank... everything I want to get him is too expensive (iPad, new Tivo, etc) He set a limit of $100 on himself...

ideas appreciated!

    Red Envelope has lots of good gift ideas.

    My DH just turned 35 in January.  I got him a few smaller gifts but his main gift was a pocket watch that I had engraved.  Normally I get him golf related stuff.  His brother got him personalized golf balls for Christmas and he loves them.

    Mostly we do a really nice dinner or a show or something together for our birthdays.  But I did get him a key chain that I had engraved with a "secret" message (it has a removal part that you have engraved) since he had just gotten a new car :)

    ETA:  I second Rye's suggestion, this gift and one of his Christmas gifts came from Red Envelope and he's loved them!

    2 seasons of JAG. 

    DH is really impossible to buy for, and we were supposed to close on our house the day before... does that make my crappy gift okay?

    TTC #1 since September 2008
    All tests normal
    IUI #1, 1/31 50mg Clomid BFN!
    IUI #2, 2/27 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel trigger BFN!
    Laporoscopy March 30th- diagnosed with mild very endometriosis
    IUI #3, 10/10, 2.5mg Femara BFN!
    Hip Surgery 12/10 and forced TTC break
    Diagnosed with gluten and dairy intolerance 12/10
    June: TTC with TI and 2.5 mg Femara
    IUI #4 & 5 Summer/Fall 2011 with Femara. BFN
    11/11 Diagnosed Compound Heterozygous MTHFR- 7.5 mg Deplin
    IVF #1 take 1- cancelled due to cyst
    IVF #1 take 2- ER Aug 29, 35 retrieved ET Sept 3- 1 beautiful embryo transfered. 11 frozen embryos (AKA snow babies)

    Doesn't your husband run too?  My friend got her husband a custom running running that he wears for races.  It's got his name on it and a cute little flying shoe logo.

    that's a good idea! You could always do it as a part of whatever gift you end up getting him. At first I thought it would be really hard to think up 31 things (haha) but once you get going it's easy. Mine is in my blog (link below if you want to ck it out).. the Birthday Boy post. :)

    Noise cancelling headphones.  They filter out all the white noise and he love them!  If you do go that way, shop around though--prices for the same brand and style vary a lot.

    I used shutterfly and made him a book of all our honeymoon pics of Hawaii and he loved it!
