Babies r Us registry returns

Anyone have experience with returning items at Babies r Us that are listed as "purchased" on your baby registry?

I have some formula that is on our registry that shows as purchased that we can not use and I would like to return it to Babies r Us for store credit to purchase stuff we can use. I obviously don't have a receipt but it is on my registry. Will they return it for store credit or am I going to have problems??

    I returned some diapers off of my registry and they were able to pull it up and I got a store gift card for the cost of the diapers. I don't think you will have a problem as long as it's still sealed and in date.

    Oh yeah, they are all still sealed and unopened and they expire in 2011. I am going to try tomorrow. I am hoping they just give me store credit because I have no doubts mommy can find something to buy there. :0)

    they return stuff off your registry, but nothing else. personally, i can't stand that place!!!!

    It is such a hassle and so unpredictable that I treat all BRU items as non-returnable.  Once I tried to return registry items and they said they could only do so at 80% off.  Hahahaha.

    I tried returning a Bundle Me and a bottle sterilizer that were purchased off my registry that I never used and they refused. They said it was 90 days past the "due date" on my registry so they wouldn't take it back. I hate BRU!
