I have noticed in the past week I am wanting to eat a TON more than I have the rest of the pregnancy. Has anyone else noticed a change like this toward the end?
I've been hungrier most of the pregnancy! It would be better for me if it were just towards the end because I'm concerned about what my weight gain is going to be like (even though I'm eating healthy things for the most part and still exercising, I'm eating too much).
Sometimes I am hungrier than others, though. That usually lasts a couple of days and then I am back to still being hungrier than pre pregnancy, but just not quite as ravenous.
Yep, I seem to be way more hungry. When I went to a pregnancy class a couple of weeks ago, the nurse said that this might happen because when the baby starts to drop you can get a little more room in your stomach again as well as lose the heartburn you may be having and being able to breath easier
I'm on the opposite side....no appetite at all and feeling kind of sick when I eat. But perhaps once I'm a bit further along and the baby drops I'll be feeling the same!
Also opposite. I had a bigger appetite earlier on, not so much anymore. I think that b/c I'm carrying twins (measuring 40 weeks at only 33) my stomach is the size of a golf ball - I just can't eat that much. Food is not that exciting/appealing so I'm kinda forcing myself to eat every few hours.
I am so hungry all the time. It doesn't matter how often I eat I seem to be hungry 30 minutes later. I have been trying to snack on fruits and veggies but it is just not helping.
I'm not as far as you... but i'm currently finding myself not wanting to eat a lot. I eat a super small breakfast, hardly any of my lunch, and dinner is normal. How weird is that?

Similar to this. I'm also carrying twins and can barely eat -- there's just no room, and I get heartburn and gas pains way up around my heart after eating anything ... so I really have to force myself to eat. I've actually started losing weight (only a little) over the last week or two, but luckily the babies are big and growing and my doctor doesn't seem concerned.
I've been starving the past few days, I don't get it, I thought you ate less at the end because you run out of room to store the food

I was scarfing down everything in sight week 34-36. Now that week 37 has hit, I barely have an interest in food. Crazy stuff, but I am sure a fluctuation in eating habits at anytime during pregnancy is normal. Hang in there!

As soon as she dropped, my appetite increased a lot.
