Looked at minivans last night

So never say never.  I said I'd never be a "minivan mom" but now I can't wait to get one!

We're looking at the Chrysler Town & Country.  A guy at church works for them so we can get their Friends & Family discount.  We're looking at Inferno Red for the color....never thought I'd have a red car, but it looks nice and it's the only color I like, though silver is a close 2nd. I love all the Stow N Go space too, works great for trips. 

We're going to get the package that has the dvd players.  With grandparents in Chicago & SIL in Pittsburgh, we'll need it for all those trips.  I even said i'd go back w/the kids & watch while DH drives!  (And I love to drive) Big Smile

Maybe now I'll learn to never say never.

    I am still standing firm. lol I will get back to you when #2 is on the way though b/c my SUV is already running out of room once the diaper bag, stroller, and toys are in. I am not sure how we would get our luggage also if we take a vacay

    The Town & Country is an awesome minivan :)  I personally will never ever drive a minivan (it helps Ford doesn't make them!).  I've said the biggest I will go is an Edge.

    I learned to never say never as well. I swore up & down that I'd never drive a minivan, but when we looked for new cars before DS was born I fell in love w/ all the room and all the features on the T&C.  I have to say I LOVE IT!  It has had some mechicanal & electrical issues, but I still LOVE IT!!!!!  We bought it used though. We got the 2008 wtih 10,000 miles.Post pictures! I love it and you'll love it too!!!

    I long for a minivan.  We borrowed one my dad had last summer for a week and it was awesome :)

    They are nice vans.  I am also one that say never ever but we will see when we have number 2.

    I thought the same exact thing until our two Focus' became to crowded with DS! Now we are the proud parents of a Dodge Caravan! (awesome red-not sure the technical name, either!). We love, love, love it and how easy it is to get DS in and out! Also, perfect timing for the twins to arrive-we would have never fit into a car any longer! Oh, and I love being up high and seeing everything while I drive-so smooth!
