DS1 is having a monkey themed party. I'm trying to be creative but apparently I suck at that right now. Any ideas on keeping the menu within the monkey theme?
DH suggested peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Which would possibly be cute for the kids. DS will have two friend here. What other banana or monkey type foods can I make?
Re: Monkey themed menu?
I love monkeys! How about get a cookie cutter and make monkey shaped sandwiches, cookies, etc.
I put monkey stickers in DC restroom and everyday after bath time we counted monkeys. He learned how to count
do a google images search of monkey cupcakes- I made some really cute ones for our monkey themed 2nd bday party
banana bread, banana pops, google "monkey munch"
ooooo, monkey munch
we did that for DD's first birthday except we called it Puppy Chow. (puppy party)
One thing that was fun is I used a cookie cutter and did dog bones out of bread sticks. (the roll and bake ones)
could you do banana shapes or something? I think Peanut butter and banana sandwiches is a great idea.
Monkey Munch, Monkey bread (YUM!), fruit kabobs, the PB & Banana sandwiches are good (you can use cookie cutter to cut out shapes), Banana Muffins, Bananas dipped in choc, Jungle Juice (just some carbonated or not green juice)
Check these out!
