So DH and I tried to install the Chicco Keyfit 30 bases in our 2006 Nissan Quest...we can't seem to get them to fit where the bubble in the level on the base is between the lines (or level at all). Sort of like the seat cusion part is tilted too much and it isn't adjustable. Did anyone else experience this...know how to fix it? Any advice is much appreciated. TIA

Re: Car seats not working with our van?
Is the base adjustable?
If not, pool noodles are usually used to make it 'straight'. They can help you when you go to get them inspected.

Huh! I'll have to take a look at ours and see if I can give you any tips. Ours lined up right away. It could be our seats are a lot different.
Ditto this -- and also check your hospital. Ours has set times for car seat checks, plus the local children's hospital has an inspection center that operates 5 days a week.
