refusing his straw cup

D's been drinking from one for a couple of months now. He used to love his cup. And then one day, decided he no longer wanted it. He's refusing to drink any water at all. We've tried a couple of different cups and he hates them all. The only way he will drink water is from a cup with no lid and I think he views this as more of a game then actual drinking. Any advice out there?

My guy was starting to drink from an open cup around then. just give him a little bit at a time and let him have the open cup

Seriously? He gets water everywhere!

just a little, enough to cover the bottom. I just gave him cups w/out shirts on, but it's just water and it dries
