Does anyone else's LO insisit they stand when holding them when they get fussy? Mine does. What I don't get is why? Or how does he even know I'm not standing? I'm holding him the same way. DD was the same way. Has anyone heard or read anything about this?
Re: he insists I stand!
For me it's a back issue. He's getting heavier and my lower back hurts when I hold him for longer than 5 mintues or so.

totally! ok i'm glad im not the only one. she also has to be facing out- shes gotta see whats going on. i'm thinking its b/c around three months they can see a lot more, and they want you to walk around so they can check stuff out, plus the movement.
i feel like my lo is in an inbetween stage, where she's not that interested in her infant seat and swing anymore, but she does't quite work in a jumperoo, or anything like that.
