GD moms- did they schedule you for a crazy amount of NSTs?

Today I was called and told that tomorrow I had to go in for my first non-stress test, and that I was to expect to have one now every 3 to 4 days. I still have 3 more weeks to go. Is this normal pregnancy procedure, or is this because of my GD?

I have GD and truthfully they have never said I needed to go in for a NST at all...

I get one every other 2 weeks, and in between I get an ultrasound.

I go in every week; every other we do nst or ultrasound and appt with doctor due to gd.

My last few weeks (from like week 35+), I had a NST every week.

I have GD and beginning last week (32 weeks) they have me scheduled for an ultrasound, NST and appointment every week up until my 40th week. They told me that they will not let me go past 40 weeks and that at my 39 week appt. they will discuss induction.

I have them once a week from 34 weeks onward mainly due to my "advanced maternal age" not GD.

I have my first one scheduled for next Tuesday at 35 weeks and will have one every week thereafter until she arrives, I also have my regular weekly OB appts.

If not for the GD I would not be having weekly biophysicals.

I have them twice a week, which equals to every 3-4 days. It's very time consuming to say the least!

The nurse I spoke with yesterday said they would want to do NST's 2x a week probably after 32 weeks (due to the GD)! 2x a week!!! I think that's crazy, not to mention it's going to start sucking up all my sick time...But if it's necessary to ensure as healthy a baby as possible I'll deal with it.

I don't get an NST until 38 weeks. My OB isn't doing anything differently even though I have GD.

I got dx with GD at 30 weeks I think and around 33-34 weeks ( I can't remember now) my OB started me on twice weekly NST's and once weekly u/s?!

It's a very time consuming appt schedule the last month and a 1/2 let me tell ya!

Oh yes....starting at 32 weeks once/week and then at 36 weeks twice/week. I feel like I'm going to LIVE at the MFM office!
