Met with my boss yesterday to talk maternity leave...

and am so relived to have finally told her that I'll be taking 12 weeks.

I wont be going back until the end of August early September.

    I'm scheduling my "leave talk" with my boss for early to mid-April.

    I am trying to get the courage to tell my boss I'm taking 12. We're allowed up to 12 through our FMLA, but he sort of hinted that HR starts to poke around why we're 'not back to work yet' after 6 weeks passes, 8 at the most. Meh. This is my first baby and if I'm legally allowed 12 weeks, I really want to take it.
