  • Nope, and doesn't seem interested either.  I was kind of stressing about it, but then figured she'll do when she's ready.
  • DD is almost 6 months and has rolled maybe 4 times total. She has absolutely no interest in rolling.

I wouldn't worry about it! Rolling over is listed in WHAT TO EXPECT THE FIRST YEAR as something baby MIGHT be doing at 4 mos.

LO just did it this week for the first time... just once and had not since. GL!

  • DS likes being on his stomach too much. He will fall asleep or suck his hands before attempting to roll over.

  • 4.5 months, no roll yet.
  • So glad to hear I'm not the only one! DS has rolled once at 4 months, and hasn't since.
  • he has rolled over maybe 3 or 4 times... and i think it was accidental.
  • She'll roll from her back to side, but not rolling completely over yet.  DD's also taking her time with keeping her head up while on her stomach.  She HATES tummy time.

I was able to get her to sit up for the first time (with the help of her Boppy) last night.

  • DD did in her sleep last night but can't do it awake. She also hates tummy time and doesn't push up with her arms. She keeps them to her side. I'm not going to worry about it. Our LOs will get there when they're ready.
  • Nope. She has no interest.

  • my dd didn't consistently roll until about 3 weeks ago.  Up to that point she had rolled a handful of times and hated being on her tummy.  Don't worry!  He will figure it out :)
  • mine is over 4 months and has absolutely no interest in rolling over.

  • DS is 5 months and hasn't.  Sad  He also hasn't giggled although he is thisclose!  Sometimes I get bummed about these milestones, but the doc says he is healthy and he seems happy so I try not to obsess too much.
  • No rolling over yet, and she is 5 months.

  • DD is almost 6 months. Has maybe rolled 10 times. She can sit on her own, but rolling....she couldn't care less.

  • DD rolled over belly to back 3 times in one day (around 3 months), it hasn't happened again since!

This weekend she went back to belly - and was super proud of herself when she did it. But again, it hasn't happened since. She doesn't even seem interested.

I've found that sometimes she explores more when I leave her alone... I guess I just like to play so much I don't give her enough time to do her own thing.

  • Mine's not. She hates her tummy. But we practice everyday too. I'm sure some day she'll get it.

  • He has no interest. All he wants to do is sit up!

  • Nope. He kind of rocks back and forth and makes himself go around in a circle on the floor, but there is no rolling over yet. I don't know how soon he'll get there because we are having issues with tummy time. He's behind developmentally due to reflux early on and is still in the mind set that anything that goes anywhere NEAR his tummy is bad....

  • DD was 5 months on Sunday and she hasn't rolled either way yet. She's not a tummy time fan so it'll probably be back to belly first for her rather than the other way around. She's very close though, she can get about 3/4 of the way over but hasn't quite figured out how to get her arm out from under her yet. I'm not really that stressed out over it, I figure she'll do it when she's ready. And she rolls to her side all the time when she's on her back. It's her lack of tummy time that has me more worried!! We're working hard on it and she will tolerate it for about 10min at a time now so that's good at least! We try and do it 4-5 times/day.

  • I wouldn't worry, mine didn't roll tummy to back until 4.5 months and didn't roll back to tummy until 5.5 months.
  • Mine will be 4 months tomorrow and does not roll over. Also, she hates tummy time. That could be the reason.
