would you automatically think porn star? We're struggling to find a girl's name that's not that popular without being too weird. We thought we had one until it popped up as #6 on the top 100 girl's name list from the 2009 census.

(I'm a jennifer and have been referred to by my last name pretty much my entire life!)

The first thing I thought of was the Duggars. lol. Second thought was Jenna Jameson.

I do think it's a pretty name and the kids your DD's age won't know about the porn star. And if an adult comments about it, they're rude. If you love the name, I say go with it!

If DS was a girl our name was Jenna Catherine (after my grandmother) I still love the name. At first I did think of Jenna the porn star, but not anymore. I just love the name.

I love the name Jenna. We worried a little about the same thing when we were tossing around name ideas, but honestly the porn star is getting older and hopefully won't even be talked about much more in the future. I wouldn't let it stop me from choosing that name.
