Middle Name for Holden

  What style names do you like?  Are there any family names that may be an option?  What does you last  name sound like?  Syllables?

  Some ideas:
  Holden Christopher, Holden James, Holden Bryce, Holden Matthew.

  We agreed to not use family names. That's the only way I could get away from making this baby Paul IV. I really like Holden Benjamin but not sure its strong enough. If I were to pick the first name his name would be Grady but Holden is the compromise. I do seem to like "southern" names. Our daughter is Brenna Allyson and our girl name for this one is Kinley Sloane. Maybe that gives you some insight...I know its probably not much.

  Holden is my favourite boy name.  Too bad it rhymes with our last name!!

  Anyways, DH and I discussed using this name before we realized it didn't sound good.  We threw around these ideas:

  Holden Michael

  Holden Andrew

  Holden Randall

  Holden James

  I think Holden Benjamin is cute too!  I was thinking of that after I posted.  I think that it is a strong, handsome name!

  You could go kind of old school and make the middle name Jerome after the author of The Catcher in the Rye  J.D. Salinger. As far as I know thats where the name Holden comes from or at least an early usage that made it more popular.

  Holden what? Holden a bag of groceries? Holden his head high? I'm sorry but the name is awful. Holden Harrington is just not good.

   Thank you amberlael for your input. I really like your one syllable names. I'm on the fence for Holden Gray. Is Gray feminine? Is Gray too girly?? Kade actually came up today also.

   Thank you for the input on Benjamin too. It's my guilty pleasure name.

  Grant, Pierce, Max/Maxwell came up today also. Any thoughts?

  I don't think Gray is too feminine at all.

  you can type in how many syllables, what you want/dont want the name to start/end with, etc. That might be helpful for you.

  I love Holden Harrington. I think it's awesome.
