1. Does your LO wear socks under his/her sleepers to bed??
2. Those of you that are planning on having more kiddos, are you keeping LOs clothes after they grow out of them just in case you have the same sex during the same season??
1. Typically I do not and I especially don't if they are wearing fleece pj's. DS1 wears a sleep sack over his pj's and DS2 is still swaddled. On occasion I will keep socks on them.
2. I have 2 sons and I kept all of DS1's clothes. My boys are born in opposite seasons (May and October). DS2 has used maybe 1/2 of DS1's clothes.

Ok.. My cousin-in-law is having a baby in 2 weeks and I have a handful of DS old clothes that don't fit him anymore to give her.. but I wasn't sure how much of it I should keep! Our winters are cold so I'm trying to figure out how realistic it is for me to keep all the long sleeve newborn baby stuff and not just pass it on to her!

Thanks ladies!!!! I don't put socks on DS but a friend of mine does on her DD and she was telling me how I should because there is a greater chance for him to get sick... I thought that was BS but wanted to see what yall did! Thanks!
2. Yes - and whenever I have some spare time (haha), I am planning to go through them and sort out the neutral stuff from the girl stuff and box it separately.

You could let her know that you may ask for them back in the future. My SIL has lent me clothes for DS2 and I give them back when they no longer fit just because they are hers and I don't want to keep them.
To give you an idea of what DS2 is wearing in DS1's clothes, DS2 is currently wearing some 6-9mos stuff - granted they are still a little big. So he is currently (as in this week) starting to wear the long sleeve 6-9mos stuff of DS1's and long sleeve 3-6mos stuff if it still fits. DS1 also had some short sleeve 6-9mos stuff that he actually really didn't get to wear so those things DS2 will get good use out it this spring as they will fit well then.
Honestly, I think it just depends on how fast children grow to know how much use you'll get out of them. I've been pleasantly surprised at how much stuff I've been able to reuse.
1. No, he only wear socks if he is wearing a onesie to bed
2. Yes I am packing away stuff DS never even had a chance to wear. If we don't use it eventually I'm sure someone we know can take it. That or we will donate it/sell at garage sale.
2. Yes, we've been packing everything away clean and neat for if we have another daughter. Due to her hip dysplasia, DD pretty much lives in sleep-n-plays (very few cute outfits ) so I figure those will be used no matter what season another baby would be born in.

2. For our 1st DD - I kept EVERYTHING. Glad we had another girl. The seasons are off - but some things we can use. Plus DD2 is bigger than DD1 was so some of her winter clothes we have been able to use. Now once DD2 is done with clothing I am getting rid of it. I have kept a few outfits. Not sure if we will have another, but if we do it will be in a few years.

Not usually unless it's especially cold. Although if my mom is watching her & ends up putting her in jammies she leaves her socks on.

We're saving my favorites & all gender neutral items.
