Grant and I are staying with my parents for two weeks. They are currently "snowbirding" in Florida and have rented a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo. The good news is that I have my own bathroom! The bad news is that Grant is a very light sleeper and every noise I make (including rolling over in bed) seems to wake him up. Add in some seasonal allergies (for me) and it is not fun. So much so that I have spent parts of the last two nights on the less than comfortable couch. So, I have moved one of the twin mattresses out into the hall for tonight. Too bad I'm not pregnant because I'll be sleeping really, really close to my bathroom now!
ETA: Picture has been added a bit farther down. . . be prepared to be jealous!!!!!

No, LO's humidifier is at home, in TN. Since we flew down, I couldn't bring things like that and my parents' car was already packed full.
Here's a picture of my lux digs. . . .the washer and dryer are on the left. LO's room is on the right and my bathroom is at my feet. . .
Despite the sleeping arrangements and less than fabulous weather, we are having fun. I am enjoying having so much help with Grant. I'm not complaining too loudly about the sleeping arrangements. Honestly, I think its pretty funny! (Though, I am missing my king size Temperpedic bed at home!)
I bet the help is wonderful!!! Just saw the pip....LOL! At least you can't fall out of bed:)~
Way off subject, dh has been wanting to get a Temperpedic, how do you like yours?
You weren't kidding when you said you "have your own bathroom!" You are practically sleeping IN the bathroom!
Sleeping arrangements aside, I hope you enjoy your vacation!
Seriously, if I fall out of bed, I deserve a reward or something (maybe another beer!).
I love our Temperpedic. It is fabulous. There are two problems--it is heavy, so when we move (which we do often), the movers whine. The second--I hate to sleep anywhere but home! I don't know how DH has not complained about missing our bed since he's been gone! LOL! Seriously, they are spendy, but I love it!
LOL! You would most def get a prize if you fell out of bed:)
DH spends money like we have some, can't imagine why we are in debt
I told him we can get one but we HAVE to pay cash for it. I'm teaching him the joys of paying cash for things. He's come around but now it's clean up time from his wild spending ways!
When is your dh coming home?! Duke'sgirl and I are working on picking a few dates to do an Atlanta gtg, you should join us!
We are going to have to implement the cash savings plan as well, it will make me feel better about buying bigger ticket items (which we need). We used a lot of the money we received as wedding gifts for our bed.
DH will be home in 2-3 months. Let me know when you and Duke'sGirl are doing your GTG, I would love to try to make it!!!
Well, I'm off to climb into bed with my book and a bowl of (dry) Lucky Charms. I swear, I'm addicted to them!
We'll let you know about the gtg! Enjoy the Lucky Charms, I fell in love with them while I was pg!
