He climbed out of his crib!

My 7 month old started sitting up at 5 Months 3 weeks. Starting crawling at 6.5 months old. At 6.5 months he also started pulling up. Kid.you.not!

Last night I said "Honey we should lower the crib mattress this weekend" Because he can pull up, although he shouldn't be able to lift himself over the rail!

There is NO bumper in his crib - its been out since the beginning. Theres a good 2 ft from the top of the railing to the mattress. He is 28 inches long.

He climbed out of his crib today. Its not a drop side crib. Its a sturdy wood crib from USA baby - he really climbed out! He has a tiny bruise on his head. He stopped crying within a minute. He smiled and crawled within a few minutes.

I still took him in to see his pedi. Waited 1 HOUR in the waiting room. I want a new pedi now.

hes fine. hes CRAZY!!! but fine!

Crazy boy! Glad to hear he's ok. That's scary! DD1 has yet to try climbing out but I'm scared for when she does. She also started crawling at 5.5 months and pulling up at 7 months. It's crazy how early some kids start, all normal!

This is a great reminder for everyone to lower those crib mattresses once they can sit up on their own! It's amazing the acrobatics these kids can do
