Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Anyone's LO starting to laugh/giggle?

My DS has been doing this for the past week and it is the best thing ever!  He had been doing an open mouth laugh with no sound for well over a month but now it is a real laugh/giggle!  It is so cute!!!

Yep, he is starting to crack up - agreed, best thing ever!  For some reason his favorite laugh-inducing thing is when I fake sneeze. He goes crazy. I can't get enough of it! Video on blog, actually.

When DS laughs and smiles, it is the best thing in the world!

  • Yep I love belly laughs. I posted that as a FB status yesterday saying it was heartwarming , sadly my pregnant friends all thought I was talking Jenny McCarthys book which isnt heartwarming LOL.
  • If you make fart noises with your lips she'll smile and giggle with an occasional squeal.
  • Yes! Truly best thing ever - Feels like all is right in the world when LO laughs. Makes all the sleepless nights and projectile peeing on Mommy when already running late for work all worth while!! ENJOY IT!

  • She only laughs at her big sister.  She did it a few weeks ago.  I was sitting in the bathroom while big sis was in the bathtub splashing and being silly and she just started chuckling.  She did it again last night right before bed.  Big sis had her towel and kept playing peek a boo with her and she would giggle.  Watching her laugh at her sister = greatest thing ever :)

  • Just a little bit.  Tickling and laughing at him seem to set it off.

  • Brit has done it for awhile now but it's still very random.  I can always make her giggle in the bathtub when I wash her underarms because she is so ticklish.  Otherwise I usually have to sing or make stupid sounds to her to get her to full on giggle.  It's the best feeling ever.

  • Soo great right?!  I love it, DD had her first real laugh the other day in the car.  She loves DH's "Ernie" voice.
