BOB Stroller Question

For those who have a BOB stroller, what infant seat do you have?  I'm asking because they have the conversion kit and it accommodates the following car seats.  I don't like any of them/they don't seem to still be available still.

  • Britax Companion - 2003 and newer
  • Graco Snug Ride - 2003 and newer
  • Graco Sung Ride 32 - 2008 and newer
  • Graco SafeSeat - 2006 and newer
  • Peg Perego Primo Viaggio - 2003 and newer
  • Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP - 2006 and newer
  • Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30 and newer

Did you buy the infant conversion kit?  If so, what car seat did you use?  If no, what did you do for an infant stroller?

Re: BOB Stroller Question

  • I am currently pg with my second and am thinking about getting the BOB revolution.  I was looking at the infant seat conversion kit and I realized for about the same price I could get a Snap N Go frame.  So you might want to consider that instead.  It would be lighter.

FWIW, I have the Graco Snugride carseat and stroller (liked the carseat and am happy to use it again, the stroller was not so great) from my first son so I will probably just re-use that until he is old enough for the BOB without infant seat.

  • I actually don't have one yet but am planning on buying a BOB. My sister has one and said the car seat conversion works great. I went onto Babies R Us and did a search for those car seats and they all seemed available (yet again--I wasn't looking at the dates, just the names of the car seats). Hope that helps a little bit.

  • My cousin has the BOB and the Graco infant seat and loves both.

I also read on the BRU reviews of the BOB infant converter that if you remove the center bar, you can use the Chicco seats.

HUH...now that is good news.  I'll have to do more research on that.

  • I'd just check the BOB info and make sure it doesn't totally void the warranty. I'm not sure how easy it is to remove/reattach the bar, but the review said it wasn't an issue and fit well.

  • We got a Chicco keyfit.  I didn't like any of the ones that fit with the conversion kit.  Plus, you are not supposed to run w/ LO in the BOB until head control is firmly established (around 6 mo is the recommendation).  So we just got a snap & go that coordinates w/ the Chicco infant seat to use until the BOB can be used w/o the infant seat adapter.

    Well that works!

    Thanks everyone for your suggestions/feedback!
