We bought this swing over the wknd and set it up - I love it! Anyways, is the motor supposed to make a sound while it is on? Just curious and making sure mine is OK.

I loooove ours too! Ours makes a quiet humming noise if that's what you mean? It's not too bad though..

We had this swing for DS and I can't wait to bust it out again for this baby. I love it!

I have it and while mine doesn't make the humming noise, I have read where some do. They suggested putting a little weight in the seat when you turn the swing on. Meaning, when you add the weight of the baby, the noise won't be so bad.

This. The noise with this swing was a topic of discussion on this board a few months ago. The general consensus was that with weight, the swing is quiet(er).
