Belly bandit 5 stars

I had a c section on 2-25 and broke down and bought a belly bandit.  For those of you wondering...they are totally worth the money.  I would reccomend them even if i ended up with a vagional birth.  They really hold your stomach where it shold be and makes the pain much less.  The only tricky thing is the sizing.  Mine barely fit at first.  I had to lay on my back to get it done up.  But now it fits perfect four days later.

    I was definitely thinking of getting this....did you measure yourself at 8 months like they suggest??

    I too would like to know how you knew what size to get.  Do you think you will need to go down a size soon?

    I followed the bellybandit.com sizing chart. I measured mine 2 days before delivery becuase i decided last minute to get it.  I really recommend the bamboo one.  I know its more but if your going to wear it all the time you want it to be comfortable.  It is really soft and not stiff like the others.  Like i said previously mine was a bit small and i had to lay flat to get it on..i was 43.5 inches when i measure myself and i got a medium if that helps.  I didnt get mine from bellybandit.com becuas they were more expensive...i just googled around looking for the best price.

    I had a c-section with my daughter and have not decided for sure for this baby.  But I'm concerned that the belly band-it will rub on the incision.  Did you have this problem at all?  Or if you put it low enough is it uncomfortable to sit down?

    my incision is really low.  At first i was wearing it too high and it didnt even touch the incision, but when i started wearing it really low covering the incisino it was actually more comfortable.  But the wierd thing and its totally normal is it is numb around my incision due to them cutting nerves.  You will either have pain above or below the incision, but the belly bandit doesnt bother it at all.

    I am so glad you posted this.  I am 32 weeks today and am measuring 43.  When did you measure yourself and order yours?  I am unsure of if I should wait another month and half or just go ahead and order it now.
