Bedrest mamas...UPDATED!!!

SO the rollercoaster ride continues.....I went in for a BP check this morning...and the Dr decided to do another internal just to see if I had any progress as I am due to be induced next tuesday. Well on friday i was only a fingertip and baby's head was engaged - well today he is no longer engaged and she is concerned he may have turned back to breech as she had difficult finding his heartbeat - it was pretty high up on my stomach. So now I have to go back at noon for an U/S to check on it. If he is breech they will most likely sched a c/s sooner rather then later as they are worried about a prolapsed cord!![:(

This is so frustrating!!! Thanks for letting me vent a little.....

So U/S went well....LO is thankfully still head down but very high up. And the cord is out of the way so no issues. They are est him at 7lb7oz right now. THe only thought is maybe his head is already too big for my pelvis. My DD has severe conehead when she was born and she was only 10th percentile for head size. So who knows we may end up with a c-sec in the end - just a wait and see now. Thanks for all the good thoughts ladies!!!

So sorry- hopefully your u/s will give you the answer you want and hey no matter what- you made it this far and will get to meet your baby next week!!!

So sorry you are going thtough this mama! Many T & Ps to you......at least it sounds like your docs are giving you great care ane being really cautious!!!! GL!
