LO spent all day getting onto his hands and knees and rocking, every so often he'd be up on his hands and feet. And while on his tummy he'd pull and drag himself forward a few feet to get to me. Um.... how long until he is actually crawling?
My little guy was never on all fours but was inch worming all over the house for about 2 weeks then moved on to cross crawling about 2 weeks later. A week after that (this past week) he has figured out how to pull up to standing and climb up the stairs. I really think it is different with every baby. Yours could start tomorrow or it could be weeks. But I can tell you that once they start going it is NUTS. I thought I never sat down before, haha.
DD has been pulling herself on her stomach for a month and a half now and is still not "crawling". She gets around everywhere fast though just sliding on her tummy. I think that is her way of getting around and it seems like she won't crawl on her knees for awhile.
Over here we had the rocking, maybe one step forward then fall thing going on for about 3 weeks. In that time DD kinda rolled and pulled herself around where she wanted to go.
My daughter has been rocking back and forth since she was 5 months. She is now 9 months and still won't crawl. I am convinced she never will, lol With my boys though, I don;t remember them doing it for long, maybe only a couple days.
