NBR: Rec's for marital counselors in central MA?

Afternoon everyone,

Not to bring everyone down but I wanted to post to see if anyone had any recommendations for a martial counselor in the central MA area.

It couldn't come at a worse time but I believe my husband and I are near separation.......possibly divorce? Not proud of being in this situation at all. Just didn't know who to ask or where to go for information.

Thanks in advance for any recs you can provide.

    Hmmm, 31 views.... no recs.....Oh well...doesn't hurt to ask! Seems like things will/are working out with us....for those who are peeking and wanted to know.

    Leeghsy, Hopefully you are not experiencing anything like this yourself. If you are...or someone you know is...just let them know that things can, do and will work out as long as you/they are purposeful in affirming the truth, declining to be negative, and having faith. (something I learned recently)

    This may sound odd, but perhaps ask your primary doctor if they can refer someone. I hope it works out for you and no shame in asking for something like this.

    Hi,

    I admit to being a "peeker" because at first, I didn't have a direct rep. It's good to heart that things are changing in the right direction for you. If you're presently employed, do you have an Employee Assistance Program(aka EAP) as part of your benefits. You will be able to get some referrals through them. The referrals are free and anonymous. Just thought I would try an offer something.

    I'm sure you will get through this and know that you have the support of us in this group even if we don't know you.

    Rachel Jarrat at the Wellesley Harvard Vanguard is wonderful. I am not sure that Wellesley is close enough though

    Saturday, niccole_, delicieux and amccarthy, thank you all so much for your suggestions and encouraging words.

    Thankfully things are going in the right direction. We decided that we are still in love and we want our marriage to work. Yes, we have found some counselors and we are making appts to decide which we will continue to see.
