TMI Question from a Newbie

So I've been in third tri for a whole day Smile and have a question that is definitely TMI. I've noticed over the last day that when I go to the bathroom my urine looks very cloudy. I don't have any other symptoms of a bladder infection though (no frequent bathroom breaks, fever, etc). I have noticed an increased discharge, but not unusual from a prior pregnancy. What do you guys think - worth a phone call to the dr?

Mine has been cloudy the whole pregnancy. I noticed that my OB wrote it in my chart but nothing was ever said to me so I havent worried about it. I just try to make sure that I stay good and hydrated.

I've noticed the same thing off and on throughout my pregnancy. I think it's because I get dehydrated. I'm looking forward to seeing more responses.

My urine has been cloudy the whole pregnancy and I drink water CONSTANTLY. As look as your dr knows about it, I think your fine. Does it have an odor?

first of all, welcome

to answer your question: i think i'd try drinking some water and see if that doesn't help. if it doesn't, it never hurts to call & ask a nurse just to be safe. mine's been slightly cloudier some days, too, but the doctor never seems to be worried about it so i think it's probably alright for that to happen sometimes.

I had cloudy urine most of my pregnancy. I asked my Dr about it early on because I thought I was developing a UTI. She pretty much told me that it happens to a lot of PG, and as long as your not experiencing pain, have a really strong or strange odor, or has blood in it, you're fine. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, but you're probably fine.

I've noticed it too, seems cloudy when I am less hydrated (first thing in the morning). I assumed it had something to do with the prenatal vitamins which also give it a much more "neon" color. But then I drink a lot of water throughout the day and the rest of the time it's almost clear.
