Pregnant after a Loss

3rd triers: What's up with all of the AF type cramps?

Whew! Off and on all this afternoon and tonight ever since I tried to walk on the treadmill. I made it all of 8 minutes and then had to hop off because it hurt. Figured I should listen to my body. And since then, a decent amount of AF cramping. I've had a decent amount through the pregnancy but haven't had them like this in awhile I don't think. Anyone else get them around this time? Any idea what they mean? Thanks!

  • I thought ctx were supposed to feel like AF cramps. I would drink lots of water and try to relax. If they don't let up, then call! Also, I would mention them at your next appt.

  • I started with this around 32 or 33 weeks. My OB was not concerned. It is probably BH. I still get them, and they have gotten worse lately. Just stay hydrated. Also, you are allowed to have 4 or 5 BHs an hour at 34 weeks so don't get too concerned unless they get closer and more intense.

Same here! I always thought real contractions were AF-like cramps, while BH were higher and included your whole belly. Hmmm, could Maddy be trying to make an early entrance?? Take it easy, girl!

oh geez! I hope not this early!  it's pretty much a constant aching so it's not timeable or anything...just feels like the lower part of my back, kinda above my tail bone is all tight, etc...
