I used to be a "regular" on the Nest/Bump, but haven't been around for a while... but I have a question and wasn't sure where to ask!  I hope this is an appropriate question for this board.  ![]()
A little background: got an IF Dx about four years ago (male factor IF, no further testing on me so not sure if I have issues, too). We're in our late 20's and we have one daughter through adoption.
My period is late.  I'm not sure "how" late b/c I don't really pay attention to my cycle much anymore... no point.
I do know that I've noticed my cycles getting shorter by 1-2 days in recent months, but never thought anything of it.  I traditionally "start" in the last week of the month.
For the last 3-4 days, I've been having brown or light pink spotting on and off. (Sorry, TMI!) It seems like every time I go to the bathroom and I expect to see spotting or AF, the toilet paper is clean. And then when I expect to see nothing, I'll see a tiny bit of spotting (either brown or super light pink). It's not consistent though... I feel like I should be spotting every time or not spotting at all... but it's so off and on.
I would have expected my period to start by now, but maybe it is just messing with my head now?!? The only other "symptoms" are things that I'm not sure if are real or are just in my head... things like fatigue, a little nausea this afternoon, etc. Basically no other reliable symptoms.
I believe I ovulated on or around Feb. 12th... and though we certainly weren't "trying" in the least, the timing was definitely as good as it could have been (looking back on it).
I just bought two tests, but I'm soooo nervous to take one.  I wasn't trying to get pregnant, and though it would be a completely happy surprise, I'm so scared to be disappointed again like I always used to be when we were TTC.  ![]()
I don't even really know what I'm asking... I guess I'd just love to hear anyone's thoughts.  I keep having to pee (I think from nerves) but I don't think there's enough for a reliable test... so I'm thinking I might wait until morning... but I don't know.  *SIGH!!!*
Re: Question about pregnancy testing
Do you think it's better to wait until morning?! I'm worried I don't have enough pee to make the test count, and I had forgotten how expensive those suckers are. LOL
I might get too anxious after DD goes to bed......
Ugh, just read somewhere that if you're not using FMU, it should have been in your bladder at least 4 hrs... and drinking tons of water just dilutes your hcg levels or something like that....
Looks like I'm waiting til morning. Boo.
