2 cm & 80% effaced...whos with me??

in 3rd Trimester

Has your doctor made any comments about when you will go? Have you lost your mucus plug or had the bloody show? Are you having contractions? Do you have any guesses as to when the real show will begin?

 

Just bored and wondered whos with me..haha. 

I am having contractions, lost the plug, had the show...I'm guessing I will go next week.

    That's how I was with DS at 37 weeks.  I never had any bloody show but I would have contrax every night that just never turned into labor.  I was sure  was going around 38 weeks. I had to be induced at 40 1/2 weeks!

    I was 2 cm at 35 1/2 weeks this time and the doctor was like "It doesn't mean anythiing".  He said if I was having contractions, he might suspect it would be sooner rather than later, especially since it's my 2nd, but he thought I'd easily make it to 38 weeks (which is what I want because I have no family in town to watch my son until I am 38 weeks).

    I am 50% effaced and thats it!  No droppage, no dialation, no mucus plug...nothing!  ::cries::

    A week ago LO had dropped to zero station already and I was 1 cm dilated.  No mp loss or bloody show yet...I know that you can dilate suddenly or be stuck at 2 or 3 for wks, so who knows when we will all go in to labor! Wink

    me too, i am in the same boat, even though have been having a ton of increasingly uncomfortable BH contractions. my dr asked what I did over the weekend, um...nothing, sat on the couch and watched tv. maybe i need to pick up the activity level so she comes soon. my dh thinks she will come at 39 weeks, i am ready now!

    Well the good news is that either way, if you keep progressing that's less dilation you have to deal with during painful contrax!  I was only in labor 4 hours with DS because I was over 4 cm dilated when I was induced.  Any progress is good progress...even if it doesn't bring your baby quicker!

    My cervix is soft, closed, and I am having an increase in discharge. Brown to reddish today. We will see what happens:)

    I was 2cm and 25% effaced this morning.  About 2 hours after my exam, I had a gush of blood and passed a big clot.  Went back to the OB (he wanted to make sure I didn't rupture or have too much bleeding since it gushed).  He said it could have been my "bloody show".  I had been slowing losing my MP last week.  Who knows... I'm hoping sooner rather than later, but I know that I can walk around 2cm for quite some time.

    I am 2cm and 70% effaced... But I will be induced Friday starting Thursday night. I  haven't lost my mucus plug or had a the show yet... So, I am not sure. My friend is due tomorrow and she is 3cm and 80% effaced. They are starting her induction tomorrow night. So... I dunno. Good Luck though!

    As of last Thursday I was 2cm & 80% effaced.  For the next two days after my appointment I lost my mucus plug and I've been having what I think are mild contraxtions or BH each night.  I don't want to get my hopes up, but it's hard not to.

    Im 2 cm and 75% effaced! I was having contractions last week but now over the weekend and so far today absolutely nothing! My doctor said before she thought I would go early but I have doubts I am pretty sure I will still be here in 2 and a half weeks talking about being induced! Which I am dreading because I have been miserable through this whole pregnancy! Oh well if she wants to keep cooking then I guess thats what we will do! Good Luck to you other mommas!!

    I was 1.5cm and 50% effaced on Wednesday.  I'm still losing my MP but had a bloody show on Friday.... still waiting for something to get going!

    I was just at the doctor tonight.  I'm 2cm and 75% effaced, but I still have my MP.  I almost thought my water sprung a leak at work today (which I am worried about because I don't want my first graders to think I wet my pants) but it was just the typical discharge.  I wish I could get an idea of when it will happen, but you never know, I could go 10+ more days still!

    I'm 80-90% effaced....baby is at 0 station....1 cm dilated.  I have been having lots of contractions, but nothing consistent.  My doctor seems to think I'm going to go sooner rather than later.  I work Wednesday and Thursday this week....12 hour shifts....on my feet.  If anything is going to move this baby along, it will be my job.
