Hello! This is my first pregnancy and I'm due on Oct. 4th. I'm usually in the October 2010 & 1st Trimester boards.

Currently my OB/Gyn is located in Falls Church and we were planning on delivering at Fairfax Hospital however I recently found out my office will be moving to the Bristow area. I definitely don't want to travel from Bristow to Falls Church for my appointments and when the baby comes I don't want to be stuck in the car for longer than 30 min.

Does anyone have any recs for an OB/Gyn that delivers at INOVA Fair Oaks?

I have Kaiser, so I'm no help in the rec department, but I delivered at Fair Oaks and have no complaints. Hope you find someone! And good luck with your pregnancy!!

I highly recommend Fair Ridge. Dr. Hodges and Shin are awesome, Its hard to get in for routine stuff - but i think you can get in if you are preggo. They deliver at Fair Oaks...which is really nice.

I love my practice - Greenbriar OBGyn - Located in Fairfax very close to Inova fair oaks.

They dont share call with another practice so you know it's one of the 3 of them that will deliver your LO..

Dr Wertheim delivered my DS, Dr Gopal delivered my DD, and Dr Pickford did my ectopic surgery, so I've had quite a bit of experience with all 3

Another Greenbriar fan here! I had a wonderful experience with them, not one complaint. I also really liked delivering at Fair Oaks!

another greenbrair..dr pickford is my favorite and delivered DS and did my d&c for a previous m/c but they are all great:-) and fair oaks was wonderful!!!

Sweet! We used to live in Bristow. We loved it out there. I can't believe how much it's blowing up. We're actually out there every weekend since we have a lot of relatives out that way.

Welcome! I also just joined Greenbriar and had my routine pap there last year. I like that the office is small and there are only 3 doctors. I previously went to Georgetown Medical (we used to live in Arlington) and it was such chaos there all the time. I hope you can get an appointment at GB.

I know what you mean. My last doctor had 5 doctors in their practice. Having only 3 doctors is a little more comforting. I was able to call this morning and get an appointment!
