we (well, really my husband) are doing millions of loads of laundry to wash all the new and used clothes and blankets that people have given us. We also washed the bouncy seat and swing covers from the ones that we got at a consignment store. Did anyone wash things like new car seat covers, new swing/bouncy seat covers, new playmat, etc.? I don't like the "new fabric smell" but my husband thinks I'm going a bit overboard to want him to do this. Or maybe he's just tired of doing laundry.

I did, washed and hung dry... warehouses where they store stuff like that are disgusting.... rodents, bugs, dust, etc....
