We've entered the throwing stage

While he is in his high chair, anything you give him gets flinged off of the side. The paci's in his crib are all thrown overboard (and then he pathetically cries as he has his head pressed up against the bars looking at them!!).

same here!!! i think its funny! i pick back up whatever she throws and if i'm looking she doesn't throw it, but the second i turn my head.. i hear a crash... stinker

I read we are supposed to pick up whatever they throw and give it to them, no matter how many times b/c it teaches them cause and effect...LOL....I think it teaches them "I can make mommy do anything"

Our DS hasn't reached the "throwing on purpose" stage yet (although he does toss things overboard while he's flailing his toys about, but right now it just looks like he loses his grip). But he does constantly want to tip his toys over on the floor then pick them back up again..or have us pick them back up if he cant. He's obsessed with things getting knocked over and then standing back up. Cause & effect for sure!

Oh yeah, the girls love that game. Lauryn will dangle the toy over the high chair and give me that look like "I'm not going to drop it" and then drops it. Ava just throws it without caution. They must love that game. Me, not so much.
